The COBB Tuning Stainless Steel Heat Shield is an
attractive direct replacement for the unsightly factory piece. This
turbo heat shield can shroud a completely stock turbo and exhaust system
or can go hand-in-hand with an aftermarket downpipe install, without
the necessary trimming the stock heat shield requires. The COBB SS Heat
Shield prevents waste-heat from the turbocharger and exhaust system from
radiating into your engine bay, reducing intake and intercooler heat
soak and lowering under-hood temperature.
The COBB Tuning SS Heat
Shield is constructed of rugged stainless steel and features a
laser-etched COBB logo to let everyone know you have the goods under the
hood! The heat shield is easy to install, requiring only basic hand
tools for installation. Couple this with the COBB Tuning Downpipe with
cast-stainless bellmouth for total heat management!
