Does your car feel like it is going to roll over under hard cornering?  Want to remove the tendency of the Mazda 3/MPS 3 overpowering the front tires under hard cornering?

CorkSport has your answer with an adjustable tubular rear sway bar.  What difference does this make to your Mazda 3/MPS 3?  The CorkSport sway bar minimizes traction-robbing body lean that rolls the outside tires off the pavement.  Our sway bar replaces the stock bar and rubber bushings with a larger diameter bar and polyurethane bushings.  With less body roll or leaning you get faster cornering speeds, more traction, and improved driving confidence.

The CorkSport sway bar attaches both sides of the rear suspension together.  When your Mazda turns the suspension compresses the spring on the outside of the direction you are turning.  The sway bar compresses the inside suspension, this effectively increases the spring rate on the side of the suspension which is compressed most.  This extra spring rate helps to minimize body roll and suspension compression.  The rear sway bar being adjustable allows you to fine tune the handling of your Mazda 3/MPS3.  The sway bar has 3 locations for the end links to install allowing you to change how much the bar uses the other side of the suspension affecting your cornering ability.

The CorkSport rear sway bar also decreases the weight of your Mazda 3/MPS 3. The sway bar is 6 lbs compared to the stock 9.5lbs sway bar used on the MPS 3.

Based upon the OEM MPS 3 sway bar, the least stiff setting is 20% stiffer than stock, the middle setting is 45% stiffer than stock, and the stiffest setting is 80% stiffer than stock. For the Mazda 3 & 5, the softest setting is 135% stiffer than stock, the middle setting is 190% stiffer and the hardest setting is 260% stiffer than the OEM rear sway bar.

The sway bar is made from 4130 steel with 1/2 inch thick laser cut and CAD designed ends.  The sway bar bushings are polyurethane and include brackets fitted with grease fittings for easy servicing.  The sway bar has a durable blue powder coated finish which can survive the winter driving in areas where roads are salted for snow and ice.
